It's under com.apple.MCX.

Is that the same one where it tells you to define the time zone? Can I just put auto or something?

Doesn't have to be an mcx.
systemsetup -setnetworktimeserver myclock.domain.com systemsetup -setusingnetworktime on
You can therefore script and test current, eg.
systemsetup -getusingnetworktime systemsetup -getnetworktimeserver systemsetup -gettimezone
You could even use Extension Attributes for smart groups to manage machines in different time zones.

Thats for the script!
Would an MCX alternative exist?
