Our self-hosted JAMF installation seems to be struggling lately, most clients are unable to check-in until we restart the tomcat8 service. After inspecting catalina.out, I found the following:

SEVERE [localhost-startStop-2] org.apache.catalina.loader.WebappClassLoaderBase.checkThreadLocalMapForLeaks The web application [ROOT] created a ThreadLocal with key of type [java.lang.ThreadLocal] (value [java.lang.ThreadLocal@31472851]) and a value of type [com.sun.xml.bind.v2.runtime.property.SingleElementNodeProperty] (value [com.sun.xml.bind.v2.runtime.property.SingleElementNodeProperty@3d057d53]) but failed to remove it when the web application was stopped. Threads are going to be renewed over time to try and avoid a probable memory leak.

Suggestions?
