Touch ID prefpane missing in High Sierra

After upgrading to High Sierra on two test machines, the Touch ID prefpane has dissapeared from System Preferences for managed users.

We don't have any restrictions set in a config profile, and the fingerprints added when the machines were on Sierra still works.

When logged in as a local user, the prefpane is there.

Any one else seing this?

AD mobile account?

Seems to be a bug, please log with Apple. Others have reported the same on Slack.

Thanks. Btw. we still use Open Directory, and it's the same issue.

Has anyone found a fix for this? I upgraded over the weekend and lost my touch ID also.

I just installed the latest public beta for 10.13.1 (build 17B35a) and the Touch ID pane is back. Woohoo!

Incidentally, I had touch id configured before I went to High Sierra and it never stopped working. Didn't even notice the pref pane was missing until yesterday when a user asked to have it set up.

Fixed in public release of 10.13.1. Head to the App Store to update!
