Is there a way to do this, and for a handy report to be produced?



Basically I have given a group of students access to the app store for school apps only, I want to see what they are actually downloading.

You can look at the apps installed from the device Inventory page in JSS, but I don't know if you can generate a report of it.

You sure can. If it's a static or smart mobile device group you can click the group name, click view to see all the devices, then click export, then choose your format (I like CSV), then choose inventory item "Applications" - hit next and it'll download to your local machine as that csv. The first column will have the title of every application and then the users with it installed.
