I've built packages, indexed them in Jamf Admin (10.9.0), allowed them to be uninstalled, cloned the policy to make an uninstall but it doesn't seem to do a very thorough job.
The Dropbox application doesn't get removed, only 5 of 7 things in the TeX applications folder get removed, but Chrome gets removed even if running.

+19Everything requires something different. Here is some information on Dropbox. You might be better off with a quick script to kill the service and uninstall it.
+27I've used this feature with great success in the past... so long as I was building the .dmg or .pkg using Composer. I wouldn't bother with using this to generate un-installers for things I didn't package. As @ryan.ball says. Everything requires something different. Sometimes there's a great uninstaller, sometimes you have to make a script instead... and then there's Adobe (Sorry, had to).
