Update OS Versions on supervised devices no longer available

The remote command Update OS Versions on supervised devices is no longer available to run on the Devices tab. The 'Next' button is greyed out. There is a box saying You can now use Software Updates to manage OS updates but I do not want to do that, I want to run the OS update remote command. How do we get this option back?

Check if you opted into the beta update feature (Sidebar under "Software Updates"). For me this caused the 'Next' button to be grayed out. After disabling the beta feature, I was able to use the remote command again.

I think I ran into this and then came back the next day to find that button ungrayed. Not sure why.

I gave it a few days, and it is still greyed out, very frustrating.
