Upload a Computer Group

I have a list of computers that I want to run a script against it. However, they don't have anything in common that I can use a smart group. I was looking at static groups with no success. 

Is there a way that a .csv or plain text file can be uploaded to get a group created? so I don't have to manually do 50 endpoints.

There is not a way that I am aware of that allows you to modify a static group with API. Jamf REALLY wants you using smart groups.
