Have you raised a case with Microsoft? I'd wager that MS has the configuration profile to enable this baked into Intune, and some kind of authentication is coming from the comp portal SSOe. You probably need to upload a .mobileconfig for this to work with JAMF.

Unfortunately MS asks for a support plan for questions about Exchange services.
I found out, that it may depend on the hybrid mailboxes.
My customer is very angry that I can not provide a solution but I think, it isn't a Jamf problem. So as he owns the MS Licenses, he must open a request there.
If no other user in Jamf Nation ever had this issue, there is no out of the box solution I can present ;-)

Yuck. Yes, this is not a JAMF "problem". Sounds like they came at you with an out of band situation and are trying to get angry at you about it. Deep down your customer likely knew they needed to contact MS, which is not a fun experience.
