VNC username/password entered incorrectly, now its cached

Hi all,

I was recently playing around with VNC in 10.10.5 and i entered the wrong login information upon first time connecting. Now it doesn't allow me to go back and change this. I checked keychain and even tossed the keychain.

I also tried running kdestroy -a, but still no luck. Anyone have any ideas on how to get the prompt back? I want to use the VNC:// command b/c sometimes casper doesn't update the IP in time.

Thanks,
Ronnie

The saved password for a Screen Sharing connection is stored as a Network Password in the login keychain. However if you've deleted the keychain as well, did you also log out and log back in before reconnecting? Otherwise the previous keychain is still loaded into memory.

@rqomsiya check the "local items" keychain & see if it's there.
