VPN Connection Intermittently Dropping via Mac OS Native VPN Client

We have an issue on a client I can't seem to figure out and my networking guy is pushing back on me saying its the Mac client. Below are the logs, "no echo-reply, start ppp_auxiliary_probe!" seems to be where things go wrong.
