We have struggled with showing links to file shares using configuration profiles and finally discovered using web clips at the user level is working-the first time. Once the user has logged in once and successfully downloaded the web clip, subsequent logins do no show the web clip. The config profile is still present on the machine even when the clip doesn't mount. If I delete the profile and log out and back in, it works but subsequent logins fail until I delete the config profile. I'm thinking I may need a logout script to trash the profile each time unless there is something I'm missing.
