Is it possible to configure an 8.6 JSS on Windows Server 2008 R2 to use a proxy server to send and receive the Apple Push Notifications requests. If so, how?

+7I suspect that you'll have issues trying to get that traffic to go through a proxy server as the APN requests are not HTTP, they are a custom protocol.
You'll need to open the ports up on the firewall for this to work

+7This issue here is the JSS is not proxy aware. We recently discovered this in our environment, now we are scrambling to find a solution. For now we will be investigating a SOCKS solution.
I'll be putting a feature request in today. This is a borderline show stopper for us.
