Wipe Command

@arashk Have you tried checking to see if a firmware password is actually enabled on Macs where you're seeing this behavior? I believe that fully wiping the drive is the expected behavior instead of invoking Erase All Contents and Settings when using the Wipe command for Macs that have a firmware password enabled.

@sdagley All devices have firmware password, this only happens on specific devices. The wipe commands works on every device with no issues, but on some specific MacBooks models it will give us that error.

@arashk For the models that give the error are they all T2 equipped Macs (should be all Mac laptops w/Intel CPUs model year 2018 or later) or are they all pre-T2 systems?

@sdagley Yes, those laptops we get the error all are 2018 or later with intel CPUs.

@arashk Then you are seeing the expected behavior for a T2 equipped Mac with the firmware password enabled.

@sdagley Is there a way to fix this issue on Jamf so the command works the normal way?

@arashk Only if you disable the firmware password on those Macs, or file a bug report with Jamf Support that the fact that an EFI password exists and ERACaS isn't possible shouldn't be considered an error as long as the device wipe can still proceed.
