Anyone keeping an eye on this?

Lot of the 10.7 stuff seems a bit scary for IT management.

Personally, I find it stupid that a mobile OS is influencing a desktop OS so much. Of course that could be my sounding old and not wanting anything to change :p

I hope I get my 100 bucks back from renewing MobileMe last week.

Very interesting indeed but we'll manage. We always have.

Apps and iCloud stuff? I'll look at embracing what we can use but we'll be
able to block the rest.

I'd like to know how the Enterprise is going to get its hands on Lion for
deployment. I'm hoping Apple doesn't require volume licensing for Mac OS X
10.7 just to get distributable media.

Apple seems to flip flop their opinion of Enterprises. I've read where they state they're not an Enterprise company (and things like discontinuing the Xserve kind of speak to that). However, recently I've seen them say the opposite.

I hope that as well ;-)

And charge a premium on top of it. I can just see it. $29 on app store, $129 per license for volume licensing.

Then again I shouldn't get ahead of myself. There has been no talk about Enterprise pricing. Also no talk about Server at all, guess that will be another session later today.

I'll be setting up lion server & clients @ home then.

I've 2 iPhones, 1 MacBook, 1 MacBook
Pro & a core 2 duo mac mini (read: home server) I was going to setup soon.

Filesharing, timemachine server, iCal, resume & icloud should make it all work. :)

Regards,

Ben.
