Anyone else having issues building out a new Yosemite image without Keynote,Pages, etc...? I've done several Yosemite installs with the hopes of creating a clean iWorks free image, however that App Store update notification will come up and say there's an update for Pages...which hasn't been installed.
+18Use AutoDMG and the newest Yosemite installer from the App Store and you will end up with a base image free of the extra apps (cruft IMHO) included on a Mac fresh from Apple.
+3Well, unfortunately same thing. The program worked great, but the same update notification came on informing me that there's an update for Pages available.
+3Yeah, that's what I was afraid of. And I nuked the drive before I ran the install. I've gone through the process 4 or 4 times, each with the same result. But...AutoDMG is great! Thanks for that little tip!
+10You need to use a config profile or similar method to set a preference on the Mac App Store to prevent the request for iApp adoption.
Here is a config profile that should do the trick for you
