I need to install Jamf Protect on some Macs owned by staff and not on our MDM. When we evaluated Jamf Protect I had instructions for installing Jamf Protect without a MDM but I do not see them any more. Does anyone have a link to the instructions?

Thanks. I checked my email and found the link. https://docs.jamf.com/jamf-protect/evaluation-guide/Jamf_Protect_Deployment.html Yes, download the file without PPPC and without System Extension. And after installation provide full disk access to Jamf Protect Security & Privacy > Privacy > Full Disk Access.

I couldn't locate the exact guide either but I think you just go to your Jamf Protect tenant and download the package with the custom profile without the PPPC. Then when you install, you manually approve it.

The solution above neglects to deselect "Include Login & Background Item payload."
See instrutions below:
https://learn.jamf.com/bundle/jamf-protect-documentation/page/Creating_a_Plan.html#task-8202
Downloading a Custom Plan to Install on Unmanaged Computers:
- In Jamf Protect, click Plans.
- Select an existing plan.
- Click the Custom Profile tab.
- Deselect the the following from the Profile Options list:
Include System Extension
Include PPPC
Include Login & Background Item payload
These options must be deselected to install the plan on computers that are not enrolled in an MDM solution.

Hi! I am evaluating JAMF, trying to do this standalone and I did the install of the pkg, added the full disk access, and downloaded/trying to install the profile as described above, without those two extensions, but unfortunately I get an error saying this:
Profile installation failed.
The profile must originate from a user-approved MDM server.
I am on MAc os Ventura 13.0.1 , apple M2 chip. How do I get the profile installed? In this state, I have no computer data sent to jamf protect and my computer is not showing up.
Thanks so much!
