Whitelist Script

We are just getting set up with Jamf Protect and are running into an issue with deploying Airtame. We are using Jamf Pro and following the instructions here https://help.airtame.com/hc/en-us/articles/5213653434909-Mass-deploy-the-Airtame-app-on-macOS

The package seems to be running a script to install the audio drivers that is being blocked by Jamf Protect. When we disable Jamf Protect the audio drivers install fine. Can someone point us in the right direction to whitelist this process?

I suggest opening a ticket with JAMF.

Hi @khupp

Indeed please share any information available with Jamf Support so we can inspect what is causing this audio driver is being prevented from being executed by Jamf Protect.
Feel free to share a screenshot of the Alert with me in a direct message as i'm happy to help as well.

If you want to create a Exception for it you can by following this guide https://learn.jamf.com/bundle/jamf-protect-documentation/page/Exceptions.html

After creating an exception and adding it to one of your Plans then the block should not happen anymore.

Hopefully this helps,
Cheers Thijs

Thanks for the link. After further investigation it turns out that Jamf Protect was not blocking the install. However, this will be helpful in the future.

What was blocking the install?  Because the audio driver does not install on my deployment either.  Support says to make sure we have antivirus disabled but that does not apply in our case.  Thanks!
