All the instructions on assigning documents to devices would indicate that this should work. I'm trying to assign a DRM-free iBooks file to a Mac and I'm getting the message "The device does not support in-house documents".
Searches on the web have not turned up any usable data, so I'm hoping that the community can shed some light. Thanks!
