Hi,

I have a couple of Managed Preferences that I want to change from being applied 'User Level at Every Login' to 'User level at Next Login Only'. I've tried setting changing this in the drop down and then logging off and back on again but it looks like the preference is still being applied at each login. I've also tried setting it to 'Unmanaged', logged off and on again then set it to 'Next Login' and re-logged on but it still appears to be applied at each login. Am I doing something wrong/missing something? JSS is 8.43, testing on a 10.7.4 Mac mini.

Many thanks!

You might try removing all the contents of /Library/Managed Preferences/ on your client machine and rebooting.

/Library/Managed Preferences is populated by information that's in the local directory.

Do a

sudo dscl . -delete /Computers/localhost

and then a

sudo jamf mcx

to rebuild the MCXes from your JSS.
