Target with Smart Group or Standard Group?

Catalina was just approved in this environment.
I had Install Mac OS Catalina.app in Restricted Software.

Now that certain individual users are going to install it -

Would it be better to create a Smart Group or a Standard group - where I would add their computer names - and put said group in the Exclusions section of the Restricted software

If it's best to use a Smart Group, would I use . AND or OR statements when I enter the hostnames to create the list?

I'm unclear how AND / OR affect how it would be applied in my scenario

    @k3vmo If you're creating a group based on host names do not use a Smart Computer Group. That is exactly what a Static Computer Group is for. Just add the machines you want to allow to install Catalina to a Static Group, and then add that group to the Exclusions scope for your restricted Software configuration.
