Three new Software Titles to Patch Management

Greetings Jamf Nation!

We have added three new Software Titles to Patch Reporting:

macOS
Adobe Lightroom CC
Adobe Lightroom Classic CC

Adobe released major version updates to many Software Titles last week. With those updates came two additional Adobe Lightroom titles.

How precisely is macOS being tracked? Only .X version changes?

Will this take into account Security updates and other miscellaneous stuff (printer driver updates, etc.) that comes down via the

softwareupdate -ia

command?

Good question!

Right now we are reporting only versions and not builds.

Example:
10.10.3 build 14D131 and 10.10.3 Supplemental Update 14D136 will still show as 10.10.3 within Patch Reporting.

Thanks for the suggestion, it would appear that Feature Request: Apple Security Updates has just been created.
