Rename local user acct to match user's Active Directory acct

Hi. Close to enrolling 200+ Mac users whose local accts could literally be anything. Currently - They log in with generic local accts then enter Active Directory creds when prompted...to access network shares. NoMAD sync's local password to the user's network password great but the local acct name stays the same. Is there a way to rename the local acct name to match the user's AD acct name? Example: Rename John to: john.doe

I tried going down this path a while ago, but having FileVault made it much more difficult. Are you using FileVault as well?

Yes. Part of my DEP & User-Initiated enrollment processes enable FileVault.
