if you need to get this done and don't care if you're using casper to do so, i'd use munki instead. i recommend it for most app deployments and updates, really.

your best bet is to package with AAME and then use either munki or casper to deploy, depending on how you want to deal with this.

I don't recall and I'm not in a place to check...

The only AIR I see is "AIR for APPLE IOS Support (FP)". I'll give it a test and see.

Tried that. Still getting a proxy prompt. On the list of apps for DesignPremium there are: - Acrobat X Pro - Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium - Dreamweaver 5.5 - Fireworks CS5.1 - FlashPro CS5.5 - Flash Catalyst CS 5.5 - Illustrator CS5.1 - InDesign CS 5.5 - Photoshop CS5.1 - AIR for APPLE IOS Support (FP)

I've tried disabling the AIR and "Creative Suite" items, still getting a proxy prompt. I can see "Adobe AIR Application Installer" & "Adobe Air Installer" in activity monitor. After killing those processes, the install has continued. Can anyone see why I wouldn't want to software restrict that?

Use Adobe's package creation:

Add the package to Casper and don't tick the box saying it is an Adobe install. This tick box was for versions of Adobe software that were created using Casper's Composing method of Adobe software.

I don't have any CS5.5 packages yet, but this has always worked for CS5!

I tried this and each time I try to deploy I get a permissions error within /library/application support/jamf/downloads I've done the repair perms on the client and all the repairs to the share and database etc...

I went back and tried the pkg given from AAME. I installed from terminal using the command line: sudo installer -pkg <path to file> -target /

It installed, then automatically uninstalled. Then I get the following errors:

Yep. I can run the pkg with the GUI and it installs fine.
