Crashplan and "Allow" access thru Firewall

We are rolling out CrashPlan ProE with backups directly to the cloud. So we don't have an internal CrashPlan server.

Deployment will be via Self Service

So for our non-admin users, what is the best option to automatically set the Firewall to "Allow" Crashplan to connect to the external backup server?

    A command like this will add a FW exception, but the app needs to be installed first:

    /usr/libexec/ApplicationFirewall/socketfilterfw --add "/Applications/Microsoft Lync.app"

    But now that I think about, why would the FW block CrashPlan when it's connecting outbound?
