Hi All,

from all my reading of the ios7 update, it seems that ios7 provides the capability to supervise iPads OTA without having to touch them.

Is this something that Casper is going to support, and if so, when?

Cheers,
Chris.

To learn more, check out the WWDC presentation. You only need the free developers account for that... Though everyone here should have the paid one as well.

Wish I had a paid one..

The OTA Supervision will do away with the need for Configurator and we all want it, but Apple's back end is not ready yet. In fact the other day they posted a 'Coming Soon' banner on the VPP license change but took that paragraph off. :(

So was the OTA Supervision just a ploy to get our hopes up? Seems that feature has been scrubbed from everything, with just the App Licensing being a 'Coming Soon' feature. Sigh.

In New England next week is an Apple Tech Update for Education. This is the description for one of the sessions:

"iOS 7 and Education: iOS 7 provides powerful new ways to configure and deploy devices across institutions and features to help schools purchase, distribute and manage apps with ease. App Store license management, seamless enrollment in mobile device management (MDM) and single sign on are just some of the capabilities in iOS 7 that make it ideal for education. "
