I have setup Casper to work in our DMZ running on a Windows 2008 r2 server. Clients are talking to the DMZ as well as the LAN. I have also setup the IIS service and an additional distribution point in the JSS to point to the DMZ.

I have put a script up on the DMZ distribution point which is located at https://ipaddress:80/CasperShare/Scripts and I can download it when I go to the IP from a browser, however, when I try to download the file using a policy in Self Service, I get an error that the file cannot be found on the server.

The server is returning the https://ipaddress:80/CasperShare/Scripts/myscript.sh as the path, but it doesnt find it. Also, I have setup the policy to reference the DMZ distribution point to download the file. Anyone ever run into this before or have an idea about what could be going on?

I had a similar problem with my company where where jss.mycompany.com would not work so I made an alias to jssdist.mycompany.com and set that as a distribution point in the JSS. It resolved my off network software distribution issue.
