Ive had a tried and tested login script which does some folder redirection that has worked perfect for the last year or so.

I recently have moved from apple server MCX to JSS MCX, as soon as I add ANY finder related MCX setting, the folder redirection script doesn't work.

Ive sifted through console looking for clues as to why but can't find any.

Another note is when i delete the computer from the JSS, everything starts working again!

Anyone experience anything similar?

@Oostendorp, MCX via the JSS is re-applied @ every login.

So I'm guessing it's wiping out then re-creating the MCX for the finder @ login, therefore removing your scripts changes.

Or your scripts changes are then made after the MCX have re-applied which may be to late.

There are others who have managed to do redirection, there will be some solutions on this forum.

Else, maybe script what your managing via MCX for the finder.
