We're looking to implement a SUS and I was wondering what people use for Apple hardware with this. I was figuring a Mini, but wasn't sure if we should go with 8 or 16 GB of RAM and the hard drive size needed.

+11We upgraded an existing Mac Mini with a 1TB SSD and 16GB RAM. The Mac Mini also serves as our JSS host. External drives for Time Machine and daily Carbon Copy Cloner bootable backup.

+13You guys that have the RAM upgrades, have you monitored the usage? Is it using it all?
I ask because I'm at 4GB on a mini and the thing rarely uses more than 3GB. The SSD is a big improvement, I must say.
