Does anyone know if it's possible to run a Netboot server and Casper repository on 10.8 server? Just want to confirm, it's something we've done with prior versions of Mac OS. Thanks in advance,

Yeah, pretty certain you won't have any issues. We have our dev JSS running on a 10.8 OS X Server and it has a valid CasperShare. We don't have Netboot enabled on it though so I can't vouch for how that works with the JSS. I'm guessing its fine in general though. Maybe others have more experience with that setup.
We are running it in our LAB without any problems.
