I haven't used snow but have been asked to deploy a few others at clients' sites. No issues from what I've seen as long as its not doing any MDM stuff.

I'd recommend getting hold of the client installer pkg and taking it apart to check what its putting where. I've seen a similar product install a load of junk in the /System folder which is less than ideal. When I asked the developer why he said "not sure".

I could be being unfair in Snow's case but from what I've seen it's quite common for companies like this to have poor Mac coding skills.
