+18Has anyone looked into this before? I'm sure there are ways to do this since you can assign a few screen savers to the login page already, (but only a few even of Apples work for this). I figure someone would have to disable SIP then write a few .plist files to include a 3rd party screen saver, but I'm not seeing any way to accomplish this.

+18I'm sure this is a security piece, but I just wonder what kind of hack I would have to run to make this happen. There must be a plist of approved screen savers (probably that don't use any other system resources). I'd love to track down this piece and edit it. (maybe just for bragging rights).

+18I just had a new thought....what if I edited the "Flurry" screensaver with the contents of the 3rd party one? Of course I'd have to disable SIP first but then the system thinks its Flurry when it's really whatever I put in there.
