+3When I do an advanced search based on department, some departments that I pick return results, while some come back saying no computers found, even though there are. I just noticed this because I'm converting some machines to "Retired" status per https://jamfnation.jamfsoftware.com/article.html?id=80 and when I do an advanced search for computers with the Department of "Retired", no computers are found.
Any guesses?
+35What version of the suite are you on? 8.5.x?
Of you perform the same searches via smart groups (I.e department is xxxx), does it work?
If so, I may have a defect ID for you. :(
+12Casper is super picky about the order of criteria you set in advanced searches. Are you specifying anything OTHER THAN "Department is Retired?" I have a saved advanced search for the same thing on 8.1 and it works...
Also, department earches have to be EXACT matches. Make sure you don't have any whitespaces or anything at the end of the department names
