I am trying to create a 10.6.2 image by using the "build train" method in
7.1. I have a 10.6 "drop in box" DVD from a MacPro that I have created a
dmg of and added to Casper. I have told Casper it is an Apple installer. I
have added the 10.6.2 Combo updater to Casper. Here's what I've tried:
- Compile a configuration with JUST the 10.6 dmg -> machine installs
properly
- Delete that config, add the 10.6.2 Combo Updater and Compile -> machine
installs JUST the 10.6, 10.6.2 does not install, no errors in jamf.log
- Delete that config, add 10.6.1 updater and compile -> Machine installs
10.6.1
- Delete that config, add 10.6.2 (so 10.6 -> 10.6.1 -> 10.6.2) and compile
-> machine installs 10.6.1 but does not install 10.6.2
Has anyone else seen this or tried this?? I can move to installing 10.6.2
as a policy, but I really didn't want to have to do that.
Any ideas are welcome.
Thanks everyone.
