Afternoon gurus.



My school is looking to move away from a legacy mail system (Groupwise) and to move on to just using Mail.app.
This would be fairly easy to configure, except all of my users are on local accounts, not mobile accounts, so I am unable to use a User-Level config profile where configuration of Mail/Exchange is available.



All of the OS X devices in my environment are 1:1, so I only really need to set it up for one account on each machine.



Anyone come in to this issue or have a suggested resolution?

If it's just one account per computer AND the user is assigned to the computer in the JSS, what about using a computer level profile and use the $username variable as needed? There are a few other variables if you check out the admin guide.

@bpavlov That is what I would do, if the Mail/Exchange options were available when setting up a computer level profile in the JSS, however these options are only available when installing a user level profile.
