Wanted to share it here for us all give Daniela some support and discuss as well. I had my own moment like this recently.
One of my friends is a librarian who ran a teen program and she introduced me to one of the teens who’s now in college stumbled into IT. I was so excited to chat and she told me that it was exciting to find someone to talk to that understood the tech she was learning about and interested. I offered my number to her and told her even if you think I already know about it if you ever need someone to share your wins with to text me. It made me so excited and remembered ( and did math that maybe I didn’t want to do LOL) how I felt when I first got into tech and how the folks who listened and took the time with me meant so much. I’m happy to return the favor.
What are ways that you all find to do that and got any other recommendations?
