Receiving the JNUC Diversity Sponsorship last year in Denver was an incredibly meaningful experience. One of the best parts of the sponsorship was getting to know the other recipients and building those connections throughout the event. I’d absolutely encourage anyone considering applying to do it. It’s a fantastic opportunity and truly worth it.

I was able to attend my first in-person JNUC last year only because of the Diversity Sponsorship. If not for that, I would not have gone at all. Beyond all the things I happened to learn at JNUC, being there in person allowed me to deepen my relationships and friendships with so many folks whom I’ve known exclusively online in the Mac Admins Slack for years. I even got to meet some of Jamf’s executive leadership, which was a highlight of my time.

If you want to attend JNUC this year and think you may qualify for the Diversity Sponsorship, I highly encourage you to apply, especially if your organization will not pay your way to the conference. Even if you don’t know whether you qualify or not, go look and check. You won’t regret going!

I’m still buzzing from my experience at JNUC last year! Honestly, I was only able to attend my first in-person conference because of the Diversity Sponsorship. If it wasn’t for this program, I wouldn’t have been there at all, and I would have missed out on so much.

It was such an incredible experience, I got to meet so many amazing new people, deepen friendships I’d only ever had online, and even chat with Jamf’s leadership!

If you’re thinking about applying: DO IT! You have absolutely nothing to lose and everything to gain. It’s a fantastic opportunity to connect, learn, and grow within this community.
