Issue - Adobe Reader, when installed using the default “vanilla” method e.g., via Adobe’s public download, exposes users to In-app advertisements and upgrade prompts promoting Adobe Acrobat Pro features setting the expectation that all users are entitled to Acrobat Pro licenses.

I created a plist file, but it isn’t working. Can anyone help me sort this out? I’d really appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

Could you provide a little more information about your problem?

What’s the “vanilla” method of installing Adobe Reader? Using a policy? Are you using a policy to install a package or installing using the Jamf App Catalog from Mac Apps?

What plist did you create, and how did you apply it?

Finally what’s your goal? What are you trying to do with your plist?

Hello @talkingmoose, Thanks for your response!

The term Vanilla which I mentioned here is downloading Adobe Acrobat Reader through Adobe official website and no Jamf involved.

My aim is to suppress users to stop getting prompts like upgrade to “Adobe Pro” version

Do you have any idea to solve this?
