I am trying to create a cloud distribution point using Amazon S3. The JSS returns the error:

Unable to create distribution for this bucket

But when I check my buckets there is a bucket similar to jamf235a039ede4741fe831b0e31287c6c7d created.

Anyone have any luck with this?
Thanks!

I believe your non-root user will need cloudfront access as well. Check out this post: https://jamfnation.jamfsoftware.com/discussion.html?id=10814

I've put in a support request for a KB.

It sounds like the JSS is able to create the bucket but fails when setting up the distribution. This can sometimes happen if the IAM permissions, bucket policy, or region settings in Amazon S3 are not fully aligned with Jamf’s requirements. I’d double-check that the S3 bucket has the correct access permissions and that the CloudFront distribution creation is allowed in your AWS account. On a different note, if you’re researching how Amazon inventory flows after returns or liquidation, you might come across resources about amazon resell store near me, which explain how returned products often end up in local resale or bin stores. It’s an interesting side of the Amazon ecosystem outside the cloud infrastructure side.
