+14Has anyone used Apple Configurator 2 and DEP? I can't seem to get my devices Supervised. The specific features we need is having our MDM un-removable and the iOS layout.
Apple supports it, our devices enroll to the JSS but nothing is supervised.

Alright, new (weird) issue.
"Configure Home Screen Layout (supervised only)" Requires the device to be supervised, our config profile applies and sets the layout. The issue is, people are still able to delete the MDM profile.
Switching to "Automated Enrollment" in Apple Configurator 2 solved the issue. Thanks @kilodelta from Slack!

+7The only thing with AC 2 is take for ever to update iPads and you have to manually add the MDMprofiles. We still using AC 1.

iOS devices take 5-10 minutes to restore/update for us. The only MDM profiles we add is our Wi-Fi MDM, everything else is taken care of by the JSS.
we use apple configurator 2 to supervise ipods (standalone), we then use DEP on iphone and cellular ipads which follow the DEP process and then enroll the devices on our MDM server
if we enrolled out ipods into DEP, can you preparesupervise a DEP enrolled device on configurator 2 and then the device follows the DEP process and enrolls onto MDM automatically?
