Might be time to upgrade the phone (14 Pro Max).  On the other hand, it depends on the price and features… <heh>.  The 14 is still hanging in there pretty well other than Apple Intelligence.

Going to be an expensive upgrade cycle in our house. New iPhones, AirPods Pro 3, Apple TV.

I dont think this will be a new hardware year for my house. I have an iPhone 15 Pro, my wife has an iPhone 15 and my daughter has an iPhone 16. Ill look at what Apple is doing around the iPhone 19 time frame. Until then I got USB-C and that is all I really wanted.

I wouldn’t upgrade either if we had the 15 in our lineup. We are coming from 13 Pro and 12 Pro Max.

I have a 12 phone and a series 8 watch that still work extremely well and my wife has an S (2nd gen) that she absolutely loves the size/form factor of. I’m debating new phone & watch really hard. Although I typically I get one a couple gens older than current. Price is probably going to be the deciding factor since I don’t use Apple Intelligence at any level.

My main use of Apple Intelligence so far is to show faculty how pointless it is to try to keep students out of it…
