Apple Mail App confusing and user unfriendly

I’ve been using iCloud Mail ever since, and I still can’t understand how a mail app can be so frustrating when it comes to basic things like text formatting, copy pasting and handling email attachments, working notifications,…

On iPhone, the mail attachment is really horrible… If I want to attach an image the image, it is not separately attached as an own attachment but just lies below the text I wrote… Why??

I’ve tried a few other mail apps, but either had security concerns or didn’t want to pay for the Pro features.

So this is partly a rant and partly a question: how have you guys managed to make Apple Mail work for you? And if you’ve switched to another mail client that you really like, I’d love to hear your recommendations.

      For work we are a M$ district. I’ve found that the Outlook app to be better than the Apple Mail app. Just wish they would stop with trying to make it AI centric and also stop having 5 iterations of it. I prefer the ‘classic’ but the O365 browser version is useable. The mobile app is okay as well.

      For personal, I use the Google mail app. More because I’ve been using it for a couple decades and am used to it on my mobile devices & web.

      Not a fan of Apple Mail, but I was a PC and Android user until about 8 years ago so that might have a bit to do with it. Only other mail I’ve used was AOL/Time Warner back in the 90’s to early 00’s. 😂
