Are apps that are (legitimately and not the bug) no longer in the app store uninstalled from ipads or do they remain until the user deletes them or other?
Thanks!

They remain on the device. They get pulled from Self Service, so if they get removed from the iPad you won't be able to get them back.

I am actually looking for info on apps in the catalog that say they are not longer available in the app store but they are. So far we have had to manually re-add the apps to the app catalog. Is this a known bug?Is there a fix for it, or a PI?

@nanfay PI-005394 ... I believe. Indicated fixed in 10.8. Support should be able to give you some MySQL commands to run in the interim.

Thanks @thejenbot. We've had a couple apps bite the dust after devices were wiped and reassigned. @nanfay and @CGundersen we've run into this issue too ( Product issue- PI-005394 VPP - Disabled Apps - Apps That Exist on the App Store are Disabled ).
