I was reminded about DDM being the method used to supply iPhones with updates going forward.

This article (Managed Software Updates End User Experience for Mobile Devices • Jamf Pro Documentation 11.30.0 • Jamf Learning Hub) talks about DDM being used for the Download and schedule the install feature and this article (General Requirements • Jamf Pro Documentation 11.30.0 • Jamf Learning Hub) routes towards Blueprints for setting up DDM. Will we still be able to use the managed software updates in any capacity or will we need to set up Jamf SSO and use Blueprints once this update rolls out?

From what I understand…
OS 27, IOS and X, will only use Blueprints/DDM.
OS 26, Currently will use a Configuration Profile/MDM command, as well as DDM, but Apple may in a future update to the OS change that and move to DDM only.
Older OS’s will use Configuration Profiles/MDM commands.

It is down to what OS versions you are using as to what you can do. If moving forward you will be on IOS/OSX 27, then yes you will need to set up SSO and configure Blueprints.

That’s what I figured, I wanted to make sure I was understanding it correctly! Thanks for the response!
