Ex.

A user brings their device (BYOD) -- They log into the MacBook that's under our JAMF control, and it automatically adjusts settings they may have set for things.

Semi-new JAMF user here.

I have tested this, no you don't have immediate access to system installed apps on MacBooks via Jamf gui, however you can make use of a remote bash script: https://www.hexnode.com/mobile-device-management/help/script-to-uninstall-apps-on-mac/

You will need to install the scripting module, I use Jamf School, so not sure whether this is an option in Jamf Now.

As a new Jamf admin, I suggest you login to the learning hub and read some of the documentation. There is tons of documentation there: https://learn.jamf.com/category/jamf-now

I’m trying as an end person to put in an app within the jamf self provider portal the use of the URL scheme (it’s a repetitive mission I’m seeking to automate), and i’ve were given to the point where I think i've the proper URL according to this:

Jamfselfservice://content material?Entity=XXX&id=YYY&action=execute

However without knowing the entity or id i will’t make it paintings.

As an instance; pasting this in a terminal indicates me an appropriate category, but as a next step I want to put in one of the apps in that category:

Open "jamfselfservice://content material?Movement=category&id=5"

Any thoughts on how to proceed, perhaps a way to listing the entities and IDs?
