Is anyone else seeing this problem? I can't edit the Mac app descriptions any more under Self Service. iOS still works fine... I confirmed this on multiple JAMF instances.

+24It's been that way for a while as far as I can recall. I kinda thought it was by design, that the description was being pulled from the App Store and therefore you could not edit it. If it isn't supposed to be that way, then it's been broken for a long time now - like, years.

That hasn't been my experience. I was able to edit these prior, just like iOS apps that are also pulled from the App Store. I would check "Ensure that users view the description " and include company specific requirements or links to setup instructions.

I should also mention I can see my edits, I just can't edit them anymore as of a couple days ago.
+2Is there a possibility to change the description of App Store deployments in Self Service? I wish I could provide a personal description rather than the original description.
I've looked at the Apple Business Manager but found no possibility.
In Jamf the deployment shows a description url to the original description but that is not changable.
