Does anyone know if and when Okta will be added as a Cloud Identity Provider in Jamf Pro?

You can configure Okta as an LDAP Server. Last I heard, the instructions here were still valid.

We want to move away from LDAP, so hoping that Jamf will add Okta as a Cloud Identity Provider.

The purpose of an identity provider is the same as LDAP — to act as a directory service for authentication and user information.

Single Sign-On in Jamf Pro accomplishes the authentication and LDAP accomplishes accessing user information for Okta. Jamf Pro supports both of those. There’s nothing Jamf can do to change how Okta decides to make its directory services available.
