Testing out an Exchange ActiveSync profile in Jamf Pro. I've filled out all the fields in the profile and the profile pushes to the test device just fine. When opening the contacts app on the device, it prompts for the "com.apple.eas.account" password. Nowhere in the profile is there a field for that password. This is the Exchange ActiveSync user account which of course the end users wouldn't have the password for.

Just because JAMF does not have an option in the GUI, does not mean there is not an option in the MDM command :). Id wager JAMF intentionally did not add a GUI element for this. Passwords are always messy, and us as admins should never touch passwords. Unless you want to keep up with every users password and constantly update your configuration profiles (one for each user) I suggest looking in to Certificate or Oauth.

This is the Activesync account password, not the user account password.
