With quality-of-life improvements for both end-users and Mac Admins alike, version 1.4.0 is what version 1.0.0 should have been from the start

A fresh update to Mac Admins’ new favorite, MDM-agnostic, “set-it-and-forget-it” end-user messaging for Apple’s Declarative Device Management-enforced macOS update deadlines

I deployed something like this earlier this year. Yours is better than mine! I used a drop-down menu for deferral options. I gave my users 1-hour, 4-hour, and 1-day deferral options. They can defer up to 3 times. I added an in-meeting check. The script would create an automatic 1 hour deferral if the user was in a meeting. I also set a deadline date. I added a current installed OS check just in case the script ran on a Mac already updated.

I’m going to test your solution and see if it works better. I have been using DDM to enforce updates if they are not ran by the deadline date.
