We have deployed microsoft defender via Jamf. However it seems they got deployed in standalone mode and not managed mode.
In defender portal the count is zero for MacOS.
any suggestions?

just to update.. we copied the script again and imported it to Jamf & deployed on all nodes.. now the defender on macbooks has moved into managed mode.
Did you run an onboarding script as after the install? We had to to get it installed,, its not an easy task.
+26With this being a Microsoft Product, I suggest reaching out to Microsoft. They will need to explain how to configure it on macOS. Personally I have never had much luck with anything enterprise focused beyond Office from Microsoft on macOS and getting any kind of useful support with Microsoft.
