Hope you can help me out here.
Our DEP/Prestage Enrollment workflow requires the user authenticate to proceed with the computer setup and enrollment.
Our new hires…who receive Macs right from the box…are required to change their initial generic password upon first login. This causes the prestage authentication to fail, with an error stating that the password is incorrect. Removing the AD requirement to change password upon next login, allows for prestage enrollment and setup to proceed as expected.
Do you have any advice on how to fix this or an acceptable workaround?
